The service of the Great Compline was held on March 5, 2026, at the Holy Cross Church in the Qassaa district of Damascus.
With the blessing of Patriarch John X of Antioch, Metropolitan Basilios Mansour of Akkar presided over the service at the parish of the Holy Cross Church. Also present was Bishop Romanos Al-Hannat, who serves as Patriarchal Vicar.
During the gathering, Metropolitan Basilios delivered a spiritual reflection focusing on the mystery of repentance and its significance throughout the history of the Church.
Following the prayer service, the Metropolitan met with members of the parish community as well as representatives of the church organizations, strengthening pastoral ties and offering encouragement during the period of Great Lent.
