On Holy Thursday, April 17, 2025, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America continued the tradition of presiding over the Vesperal Liturgy of Saint Basil at the Archdiocesan Chapel of St. Paul at the Archdiocese headquarters in New York City.
Archdiocesan staff joined together in this sacred liturgy as a community of faithful workers for our Holy Church in America.
Addressing those gathered, His Eminence reminded them of the importance of gathering as a family of the Archdiocese as Jesus Christ gathered the closest people to him, his twelve disciples, for the Mystical Supper. He urged them to put aside the challenges of their work and to remember the importance and the value of their ministry to the Church.
