The Halki Theological School welcomed two notable groups of visitors today, Friday, 14 November 2025.
A large group of Greek Orthodox pilgrims from Germany, led by Bishop Emmanuel of Christoupolis, Auxiliary Bishop of the Holy Metropolis of Germany, visited the historic institution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The guests were received by the Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos, who warmly welcomed them and spoke about the rich spiritual and historical legacy of the School.
Later in the day, the School was visited by the President of the “Movement for Democracy,” Mr. Stefanos Kasselakis, accompanied by members of his team. They were also welcomed by Bishop Kassianos, with whom they held an extended discussion on matters of mutual interest.
Following their meeting, the delegation visited the chapel of the Holy Trinity and toured the old classrooms of the Theological School, gaining insight into its enduring significance in Orthodox education and heritage.
