Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III of All Georgia received representatives of the Bagrationi royal dynasty and members of their families at the Patriarchal Residence on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The meeting was attended by Ioane and Christine Bagration-Mukhraneli, Princess Maria Immaculata of Liechtenstein, Zurab Dzidziguri and Lali Vashakidze.
During the meeting, the Georgian Patriarch, who also holds the titles of Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi and Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, welcomed the distinguished guests.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Patriarch Shio III bestowed his blessing upon the visitors and presented them with commemorative crosses produced to mark the 1,700th anniversary of the proclamation of Christianity as the state religion of Georgia.
