On June 5, 2026, Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III of All Georgia received Metropolitan Dimitri (Shiolashvili) of Batumi and Lazeti at the Patriarchal Residence in Tbilisi.
Also attending the meeting were the Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Zurab Pataradze, accompanied by his wife, and the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara, Tsotne Ananidze.
During the meeting, the participants discussed current developments both in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and across Georgia more broadly. The conversation focused on issues of common interest concerning the life of the region and the country.
The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere. At its conclusion, the Patriarch offered his blessing to the guests and wished them success in their responsibilities and future endeavors.
