Despite the current difficulties, the Metropolis of Chios did not stop its charity work to the needy and the poor.
With the blessing of Metropolitan Markos of Chios, gift vouchers were distributed to 200 families for food supply, while the Philoptochos of the Metropolis offered 150 food parcels to families as well as to the port workers.
Finally, the Philoptochos of the Metropolis will host, as it does every year, the Easter meal of the island’s nursing home and will offer donations to charitable organizations.
