The atmosphere outside the presidential residence in Constantinople is festive.
On the occasion of the 567th anniversary of the Fall of Constantinople, the fiesta began in the morning with Recep Tayyip Erdogan as the protagonist.
The Turkish president greeted the crowd on the boats that passed the Bosphorus to celebrate the Fall of Constantinople.
The TV show organized by the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Culture is expected to start at 21:00 p.m. with the reading of excerpts from the Koran and the prayers, as Erdogan announced yesterday.
