The Divine Liturgy was celebrated solemnly in the memory of Saint Ioannis the Merciful, Patriarch of Alexandria, patron saint of Limassol, Cyprus, on Monday, November 11, at the homonymous church.
Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria presided over the Great Vespers Service concelebrated by Metropolitans Makarios of Kenya, Georgios of Guinea, Athanasios of Limassol and the Exarch of the Patriarchate of Alexandria in Cyprus, Bishop Nikodimos of Nitria, and Bishop Nikolaos of Amathus.
