The Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious Cross was solemnly celebrated in the Cathedral of Saint Frumentius in Addis Ababa.
Metropolitan Daniel of Axum presided over the service, who spoke about the significance of the constant presence of the Precious Cross in the life and works of all humans.
According to the typikon, the service of the Exaltation took place and then flowers were distributed to the faithful who paid their respects to the Lord’s Cross.
Metropolitan Daniel conveyed the blessings and wishes of Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria.
