On Saturday, 14th September 2025, the Feast of the Elevation of the Holy Cross, Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain presided over Matins and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Archangel Michael in Golders Green.
Concelebrating with Archbishop Nikitas were Metropolitan George of Guinea, Archimandrite Dr Isidoros Katsos, Archimandrite Vissarion Kokliotis, Priest-in-Charge, Presbyter Dimitrios Mislis and Archdeacon George Tsourous.
At the conclusion of Matins, Archbishop Nikitas elevated Georgios Niarchos, Nektarios Lastiotis, Nectarios Finn, and Ioannis Mislis into the order of Reader, marking the beginning of their liturgical ministry within the Church.
Following the Divine Liturgy, clergy, the parish council, and the faithful offered their heartfelt congratulations, and the day concluded with a joyful festal reception in the community hall.
