The annual feast of the Parish of Saints Constantine and Helen of the medieval city of Bruges in Belgium was celebrated on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium and Exarch of the Netherlands and Luxembourg attended the feast among priests and deacons of the Metropolis, as well as clerics from the various Orthodox churches in Belgium.
Athenagoras preached the divine word, and referred to the great historical figures of the two kings, St. Constantine and his mother Helen.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Metropolitan of Belgium thanked the Archpriest of the church Protopresbyter Peckstadt for the good organization of the parish, as well as the chanters and the people who rushed to commemorate the great saints of our Church.
