Metropolitan Kyrillos of Imbros and Tenedos, celebrated today, Wednesday, the 10th of February 2021, the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Saint Charalambos in the village of Saint Theodoros in Imbros with the participation of many believers who wanted to commemorate the saint, as reported by fanarion.blogspot.com.
In his homily, the Metropolitan conveyed the wishes of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who would really like to attend the service but the circumstances did not allow him to do so.
Following the end of the Divine Liturgy, the artoklasia loaves and the koliva (boiled wheat) were blessed. Then, the Imbrians celebrated the feast by dancing Greek traditional dances.
