Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of Pentecost on June 8, 2025, at the Patriarchal Church, concelebrated by the Hierarchs Meliton of Philadelphia, Eirinaios of Myriophyton and Peristasis, Chrysostomos of Myra, Nikolaos of Philippopolis (from the Bulgarian Orthodox Church), Nektarios of Anthidona (Representative of the Holy Sepulchre in the City), Ioakeim of Bursa, and Theodoros of Seleucia.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the Ecumenical Patriarch presided over the Vespers Service of the Holy Spirit, during which the Hierarchs of Philadelphia, Philippopolis, and Anthidonos read the Kneeling Prayers.
In attendance were Bishop Eumenios of Lefke, Consul Theofilos Georgakis representing the Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, Consul Andrij Boiko representing the Consul General of Ukraine, Greek MP Dimitrios Kouvelas, Bulgarian officials Ivan Petleshkov and Radomir Cholakov, Archon Dimitrios Yotef, President of the Bulgarian-speaking Community of Constantinople, other Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and a large number of faithful from Constantinople and abroad.
