On Monday, June 21, the feast of the Holy Spirit, the Archiepiscopal Vicar of Canberra and Tasmania, Archimandrite Prochoros Anastasiadis, presided over the Divine Liturgy at the celebrating Holy Trinity Church in Hobart, accompanied by the head of the Church of Saint Georgios in Hobart, Fr. Panagiotis Nikolakos, and the newly appointed priest of the Holy Trinity, Fr. Dimitrios Katsis as reported by vema.com.au.
The President of the Greek Community of Hobart, Nikolaos Theodoropoulos, as well as Stefanos Papastamatis, a student at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Theological College in Sydney, attended the service.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Fr. Prochoros conveyed to the faithful the heartfelt wishes of Archbishop Makarios of Australia for the feast of their parish.
The luncheon took place with the participation of clergy and faithful.
