The Feast of the Epiphany was solemnly celebrated at the Church of Saint Ioannis in Nea Filadelfeia.
On Monday, January 6, 2020, Metropolitan Gabriel of Nea Ionia, Filadelfeia, Irakleio, and Chalkidona presided over the Orthros, the Divine Liturgy of Saint Basil, and then the Service of the Great Blessing of Waters, which was concelebrated by the clergymen of the Holy Metropolis.
Finally, Metropolitan Gabriel went to the lake in the park of Nea Filadelfia, where he performed the Blessing of the Waters.
