On Thursday, 22 December 2022, in the town of Vasilika, Halkidiki, at the Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegial Monastery of Saint Anastasia Pharmakolitria (Deliverer from potions), a festive Hierarchical Divine Liturgy took place on the occasion of the holy feast day of Saint Anastasia the Great Martyr.
Metropolitan Nikodemos of Kassandreia presided over the Festive Services, joined also in prayer by Metropolitan Panteleimon of Vryoula and Metropolitan Apostolos of Miletus, as well as the Holy Abbot of the Monastery, who referred to the long history of the Monastery and wished the pious pilgrims the very best.
A congratulatory Letter from the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was read, during the celebration of the Monastery.
In the afternoon on the same day, a post-feast Vespers was celebrated with the blessing of the five loaves and Holy Supplication Service to Saint Anastasia, which was presided over by Metropolitan Apostolos of Miletus. The Holy Supplication Service was chanted by the students of the Byzantine Music School of the Holy Monastery.
