On Saturday, October 1, at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Gorgoepikoos in Geelong, Victoria, The feast day was celebrated with ecclesiastical splendor and devoutness.
The festive Divine Liturgy was presided over by Bishop Christodoulos of Magnesia, accompanied by clergy from Melbourne and Sydney. Also, present and joining in prayer from the Holy Altar were Their Graces, Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, and Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta.
The pilgrims had the opportunity to spend a beautiful afternoon on the monastery grounds, where freshly brewed coffee and traditional Greek sweets were available, while the Supplication Paraklesis Canon to the Virgin Mary was also conducted after the hospitality of the monastery was offered.
