The feast day of the Holy Trinity was celebrated at the Holy Monastery of the Holy Trinity.
Representing Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos presided over Divine Liturgy for Holy Pentecost and an All-Night Vigil for the Holy Trinity and celebrated with the Abbott, Elder Joseph, and the pious brotherhood.
Bishop Athenagoras conveyed the blessings of Archbishop Elpidophoros of America to the brotherhood and faithful. The monks walked the beautiful grounds with the Bishop and took him to visit and feed their livestock. The Greek Orthodox monasteries in America are an incomparable example of genuinely taking care of God’s green earth and His animals. Bishop Athenagoras shared heartfelt thanks for the brotherhood’s Christlike philoxenia (hospitality).
