Therefore, Facebook users are urged to ignore any profiles or pages that claim to represent the Archbishop of Australia and to refrain from any interaction with them, especially from providing personal information.
Additionally, individuals who receive emails from accounts bearing the name and title of His Eminence are advised to carefully assess the content of such messages and verify the sender’s email address. If deemed necessary, they may contact the offices of the Holy Archdiocese by phone for further verification.
The appropriate actions are being taken with the relevant authorities regarding the matter of fake electronic accounts using the identity of Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
