The Turkish president went to Hagia Sophia to pray on Friday morning.
As reported by the pro-government newspaper Yeni Safak with a relevant photo cited by tanea.gr, he went to Hagia Sophia to pray.
In a relevant video posted by the newspaper, it seems that Erdogan put up a well-made show arriving at the place protected by security forces.
The Turkish president was welcomed outside the Hagia Sophia by the imam and as soon as he arrived in an armored vehicle, surrounded by men of his personal guard, he went inside the historic temple for prayer.
