His Grace was assisted by Reverend Father Nicholas Stavropoulos. During his sermon, His Grace emphasised that today we celebrate the revelation of the whole Trinity and that we are called to reveal Christ through our actions, through the virtue of love and humility.
At the end of the service His Grace conducted the Agiasmo service and conveyed the love and best wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios. Moreover His Grace spoke about the iconography that is taking place at the church and the importance of supporting such a project.
After the service His Grace visited Plantation Reserve and blessed the local waters. Mr Dimitrios Papadimitriou retrieved the cross. Dimitri is 17 years of age and attends St Euphemia College in Bankstown. His Grace spoke with Dimitri on the importance of having love and trust in God and that in all difficulties in life Christ is there to assist, to have a relationship with Him through prayer.
