The feast of the Holy Twelve Apostles was celebrated with splendor and enthusiasm, in the Holy Metropolitan Church of Saint Paraskevi in Therapia, on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi presided over the service.
In the afternoon, the Great Vespers Service and the Orthros of the feast were performed with the participation of the Abbot of the Holy Monastery of the Holy Trinity at Sparmos of Olympus, as well as members of the fraternity “Lydia” and the TV Station 4E.
In the morning Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi presided over the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and the five loaves (artoklasia) service.
The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was attended by the Metropolitans Irineos of Myriophytos and Peristaseos, who was the representative of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Emmanuel of Chalcedon, Maximos of Selyvria, Andreas of Saranda Ekklisies, Joachim of Prussia, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos, and Benjamin of Traleon.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, a reception was held in the courtyard of the beautiful Holy Metropolitan Church of Saint Paraskevi.
