Speaking to One Channel, Elder Iakobos spoke about the difficult times he and the other monks spent at the Monastery of the Dormition of Virgin Mary in Makrimalli, Evia.
Obviously upset, but happy that the historic monastery, measuring half a century of life, has remained intact, Elder Iakovos describes what he has been through the last critical 24 hours.
“By the grace of God everything will be done again. The men of the Fire Department fought hard to save the historic Monastery of Our Lady”, concluded Iakovos.
