On Meatfare Sunday, February 15, 2026, following his presiding at the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Church, Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon offered a Trisagion service for the repose of the soul of the late Metropolitan of Ganos and Chora, Amphilochios.
Earlier that morning, the Metropolitan attended in prayer the Divine Liturgy of the Saturday of Souls. At the conclusion of the service, he offered the customary Trisagion, during which he read the prayers of absolution and the names of the departed faithful, for whose repose kollyva had been offered.
On Friday evening, during Vespers, the Trisagion was offered by the Ecumenical Patriarch, who departed on Saturday morning for a brief private visit to Austria.
