Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew received members of the Patriarchal Court in audience on the eve of the Feast of Pentecost and announced the following promotions and appointments in recognition of their faithful and dedicated service:
Archimandrite Kaisarios Chronis, Archivist of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, was promoted to the rank of Grand Preacher of the Great Church of Christ (Megas Ierokeryx). His elevation took place today, Monday of the Holy Spirit, following the Divine Liturgy at the feast-day celebration of the Holy Trinity Church in Stavrodromi (Pera).
Patriarchal Deacon Photios Poulopoulos was appointed First Secretary of the First Patriarchal Office.
