The Metropolis of Messinia announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will conclude his official three-day visit to the Metropolis of Monemvasia and Sparta with a departure from Kalamata International Airport.
The Patriarch is expected to arrive at the airport at 4:00 PM, where he will bid farewell to representatives of the local Church and authorities before boarding a direct flight back to Constantinople.
The Ecumenical Patriarch’s visit to Laconia and his upcoming departure from Messinia are of profound importance to the Church and the local community.
