More than 60 religious leaders from around the world will convene today, Tuesday, July 29, in Constantinople with the aim of responding to urgent global challenges and supporting peace and ceasefires in conflict zones.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will deliver the keynote address at the opening ceremony.
The meeting’s agenda includes tackling the global debt crisis, promoting the ethical development of artificial intelligence, and advancing the “Shared Sacred Flourishing” (SSF) initiative a visionary framework inviting religious communities to foster peace, justice, and reconciliation worldwide.
