Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, during his visit to the Metropolis of Nicopolis and Preveza, received Mareva Grabowski, the spouse of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at his hotel on Friday, June 28, 2024. Grabowski, who was passing through the region, wished to meet the Patriarch as a sign of respect and honor to both the institution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and to his person.
During their meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, Mareva Grabowski conveyed the similar feelings of respect and honor from Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The Prime Minister had recently met with Patriarch Bartholomew in Switzerland on the sidelines of the International Summit on Ukraine.
