On December 27, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew visited Metropolitan Stefanos of Kallioupolis at the Church of St. Demetrios in Tatavla. He also visited the Metropolitan’s office, where he serves as Supervisor of the Tatavla District, in honor of his name day.
The Ecumenical Patriarch was warmly received at the church by His Eminence, accompanied by the clergy and members of the Church Committee of the Community, under the leadership of its President, Georgios Theodoridis. They paid their respects and sought his Patriarchal blessing and paternal wishes for the joyous celebration of the Holy Twelve Days of Christmas, as well as guidance and support in fulfilling their ecclesiastical duties.
The Patriarch extended his heartfelt wishes to the Metropolitan of Kallioupolis for good health and the continued success of his esteemed ministry. He further commended both the Metropolitan and the Ecclesiastical Committee for their invaluable contributions and the remarkable work they are accomplishing.
