According to an official announcement, PeopleCert will hold the graduation ceremony of the “Strengthening Education in Constantinople” program on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the historic Marasleio School in Constantinople, according to an official announcement.
As part of the event, the 2026 “Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Award” will be presented to Archon Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate Athanasios Martinos, founder of the Athanasios and Marina Martinos Foundation.
The distinction recognizes Martinos’ longstanding and selfless support for the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Greek Orthodox community of Constantinople, as well as his significant contribution to the preservation and revitalization of historic educational, ecclesiastical, and community institutions of the Greek diaspora in the city.
The award ceremony will take place in the presence of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who will personally present the award to the honoree.
