Today, Monday, March 25, Ecumenical Patriarch spoke about Archbishop Stylianos of Australia at the Community Hall of the Church of Evangelismos of Virgin Mary at Vafeohori Community.
“The passing of Archbishop Stylianos creates new conditions”, stressed Ecumenical Patriarch and went on: “Holy Synod shall try to make the best decisions under the circumstances”.
“I publicly allege that we are deeply concerned whether the Archdiocese of Australia should continue to be a single church organization, Archdiocese, with one Archbishop and assistant Bishops or it should be divided in separate independent Metropolises”, mentioned among others Bartholomew.
