On Sunday, January 5, 2025, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew held a telephone conversation with the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, who warmly extended her New Year’s greetings.
The Ecumenical Patriarch expressed his gratitude to the President for her thoughtful gesture, wishing her good health and every blessing for herself and her fellow citizens.
During their conversation, the Patriarch conveyed his heartfelt hope that 2025 would be a year marked by peace worldwide. He also asked President Sakellaropoulou to share his blessings and paternal wishes with the devout Greek people.
