Following the festive Patriarchal Concelebration held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Metropolitan Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Panagia, Imbros, with the participation of Patriarch Daniel of Romania and Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew continued the celebrations marking his name day in his native island.
Later that afternoon, the Ecumenical Patriarch, accompanied by Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria, visited the village of Glyky in Imbros, where he celebrated a Trisagion memorial service in honor of Hieromonk Bartholomew Koutloumousianos.
