The parish of St. Paul the Apostle in Lille, northern France, was able to celebrate Holy Week and the glorious Resurrection of the Lord.
Due to the coronavirus and the strict measures in France and Belgium the church had been closed for a period of three months. However, with the help of the local Roman Catholic Archbishop, who granted the majestic church of Saint Apostle Andrew to the parish, the parish priest Archimandrite Fr. Emilianos Bogiannou performed the sacred services taking all the necessary measures and allowed the faithful to attend the services.
With the blessing of Bishop Eirinaios of Rigion, the sacred services were performed early in the afternoon of each day and with the strict observance of the health and safety measures.
