The adverse weather conditions in southwestern Switzerland did not prevent the Christian Greek faithful of Geneva and its environs from coming to the Church of Saint Paul in Chambésy, where their Parish is housed, to receive from Metropolitan Maximos of Switzerland the Holy Light and together with the Angels in heaven praise and glorify in a pure heart the Resurrection of Christ.
According to the strict precautionary measures imposed by the Swiss authorities to combat the pandemic, there were only fifty believers inside the Temple, while many attended the Resurrection Service and the Divine Liturgy from the courtyard of the Temple.
The next day, the Vespers of Love was sung, during which the Holy Gospel was read in Greek first by the Metropolitan of Switzerland, and then in Russian, Georgian, French, German, English, and finally again in Greek by the Deacon.
