On Sunday of the Paralytic, May 11, a solemn Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Presentation of the Theotokos in Pera, Constantinople, presided over by Bishop Eumenios of Chora.
Present in prayerful participation were Bishop Elpidios of Perth, Bishop Silouan of Adelaide, and Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne—members of the Eparchial Synod of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia—as well as the Grand Protosyncellus, Father Grigorios.
The Divine Liturgy was attended by a group of faithful from the Greek-Australian community, who reverently participated in the sacred service, offering a heartfelt expression of love and unity toward the Mother Church.
Following the Liturgy, Metropolitan Andreas of Forty Churches (Saranta Ekklisies), Overseer of the Stavrodromi District, warmly welcomed the visiting Hierarchs and their delegation in the parish hall, expressing the joy of the Ecumenical Patriarchate for the spiritual bond shared with the Church in Australia.
