On February 15, 2026, the Feast of the Presentation of Christ, Bishop Stefan of Remesiana presided at the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. Sava in Belgrade, with the blessing of Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia.
In his homily, Fr. Miroslav Vasić emphasized that the Feast of the Presentation of Christ and Meatfare Sunday (the Sunday of the Last Judgment) reveal the same truth: that man is called to an encounter with God. Referring to Righteous Simeon, he underlined the need for a pure heart to recognize Christ in daily life and in those in need.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Stefan greeted the faithful on the feast and invited them to visit Moscow and the Podvorye of the Serbian Orthodox Church, highlighting pilgrimage and spiritual communion. The celebration concluded with concelebration by clergy and the faithful.
