Dragoș Tiberiu Niță, Director of the Romanian Cultural Institute Dimitrie Cantemir in Constantinople, met on Wednesday with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
In a post on his personal Facebook page, Dragoș Tiberiu Niță said the Ecumenical Patriarch encouraged him to continue “promoting Romanian cultural and spiritual values in an international context.”
He added that the visit represented “a moment of great spiritual elevation, as well as an exceptional opportunity to stand before and engage in dialogue with a spiritual leader of global stature.”
The Romanian Cultural Institute Dimitrie Cantemir is the main institution responsible for promoting Romanian culture and civilisation in Turkey.
