Today, Thursday, October 21, 2021, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, in charge of Hellenes Abroad, Andreas Katsaniotis, paid an official visit to the Theological School of Halki, accompanied by his wife, the Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, G. Soultas, and his associates.
The guests were received by the Abbot, Bishop Cassianos of Arabissos, and the fraternity. After a discussion with the Abbot in the Ceremony Hall of the School on issues related to current matters and its activities, as well as its reopening, they were guided to the classrooms, the student dormitories, the historic library, and the other premises of the School.
During his stay at the Theological School of Halki, the Deputy Minister described it as a “cradle of promotion of culture”, was informed about its rich and glorious history, and expressed his admiration for the activities carried out in it.
