The “Ecclesiastical News of Georgia” speaks of a “deliberate attempt to falsify information” on the part of the Patriarchate of Georgia.
In particular, and as the page reports, in recent days, the official Facebook page of the Patriarchate of Georgia (“News of the Patriarchate”), falsified the translation of the original texts of the Ukrainian ecclesiastical media.
In particular, the Ukrainian ecclesiastical press “Pavlovsky.NEWS” quoted (among other things), statements of Filaret (Denisenko) as follows: “It is not that we were not invited by Patriarch Bartholomew but by Metropolitan Epifaniy.”
The Patriarchate of Georgia points it out as: “It is not that Patriarch Bartholomew did not invite us, but “Metropolitan” Epifaniy”.
This raises the question, whether it is a deliberate attempt to falsify information, as in the original text the title of Metropolitan Epifaniy is not enclosed in quotation marks, while the official account of the Patriarchate of Georgia lists the title of the Metropolitan of Kyiv in quotation marks.
