A Bulgarian church delegation will visit Tbilisi, Georgia, from 16 to 19 May at the invitation of the Holy Synod.
During their visit, the delegation will participate in the conciliar Divine Liturgy to celebrate the election and enthronement of the newly elected Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia, Shio III.
The delegation will consist of Metropolitan John of Varna and Veliki Preslav, and Metropolitan Gregory of Vratsa, accompanied by their associates.
Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III of the Orthodox Church of Georgia was elected Primate of the Church on May 11 at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi. He was enthroned on May 12.
