On November 30, 2018, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations, who is on a visit to France with a blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, met with the Russian ambassador to France A. Meshkov.
They discussed a wide range of issues on the international agenda and the work with compatriots who reside in France.
Metropolitan Hilarion shared impressions of his visit to the Russian Orthodox cultural center on the Branly Embankment in Paris and participation in the conference devoted to the 60th anniversary since the death of Vladimir Lossky, an outstanding theologian of the Russian Diaspora.
