On Sunday, 17th November 2024, Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom.
Concelebrating with him were Archimandrites Nephon Tsimalis and Theonas Bakalis, Prof. Dr. Nikitas Banev, and Dr. George Samoutis (M.D.).
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Archbishop Nikitas, in response to a unanimous request from the Wardens’ Committee, announced the appointment of Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Protosyncellus, as the Cathedral Dean.
Following the Archbishop’s archpastoral exhortation, Fr. Nephon expressed his gratitude to the Archbishop, the Wardens, and the Cathedral clergy—past and present—for their unwavering support and encouragement.
