Coptic churches in Cairo and Alexandria will remain closed until August 3, due to the COVID-19 cases that continue to increase in the two Egyptian large cities, as announced by the representative of the Coptic Church of Egypt, Bolis Halim.
It is noted that, according to a previous decision by the Coptic Church, which had been taken by the Standing Synod through a teleconference chaired by Coptic Patriarch Tawandros II, its churches in Cairo and Alexandria would open on July 15.
