The Orthodox Academy of Crete, in collaboration with the scientific journal “After Constantine,” organizes a virtual conference “Aspects and approaches of Christmas in Late Antiquity and Early Byzantine period.”
The aim of the conference is the interdisciplinary approach and analysis of the celebration of Christmas in Late Antiquity, mainly in terms of the religious context of the time, the historical base, and their identity through art.
The conference will be hosted online by the Orthodox Academy of Crete and will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel (click here), on Monday, December 7, 2020, at 18:00.
