The Committee on Educational Affairs of the Greek Parliament has completed the second reading of the Ministry of Education’s bill, which provides for the establishment of a Public Legal Entity in Greece under the name “Hellenic Orthodox Holy Royal Autonomous Monastery of the Holy and God-Trodden Mount Sinai in Greece.”
The bill also includes provisions aimed at strengthening security measures in higher education institutions and regulations related to sports.
The bill was approved by a majority vote, with only the New Democracy party supporting the principle of the legislation.
