The clergymen of the parishes of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote had the opportunity to obtain a comprehensive picture of the present and the future of St. John’s Greek Orthodox College in Preston, Melbourne.
On Monday, November 16, an information session for the clergy was held at the school premises, where the Principal of the College, Anna Urban, presented an overview of the main activities that took place at the school during the year, as well as the Strategic Plan goals for 2020-2025. During its presentation, Anna Urban underlined the valuable support of Archbishop Makarios of Australia for the new vision, the mission and the values of the College.
Earlier, the Archiepiscopal Vicar of Northcote, Archimandrite Evmenios Vasilopoulos, and the Chairman of the Board of the College, Fr. Ioannis Frangos, praised work carried out by the new College principal.
After the briefing, as reported by vema.com.au, the clergymen were shown around the premises of the College, particularly the new sports courts, which, through their donations and the donations of their parishes and communities have allowed us to complete the upgrade earlier this year.
The administration staff of the College thanked the clergymen for their presence at this special event, as well as for their continued support at St. John’s College.
