As part of his pastoral visit to the Holy Diocese of Brisbane, Archbishop Makarios of Australia chaired a Hierarchical Synaxis of the clergy, joined by Bishops Bartholomew of Brisbane and Siluan of Adelaide.
During the Synaxis, Archbishop Makarios expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the clergy for their active participation in recent celebrations held in Sydney and Melbourne. These events marked the centenary of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia and honored Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
