Under the presidency of Archshop Sotirios of Canada, a clergy meeting was held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in the conference hall of the Holy Archdiocese of Canada.
Participating were priests from Toronto and the surrounding areas. The discussion was chaired by Bishop Athenagoras of Patara.
Presentations were given on the following topics:
• Catechism and Youth, by Fr. Konstantinos Pavlidis.
• Creation of Catechetical Committee for Converts to Orthodoxy, by Fr. Evdokimos Mathioudakis and Fr. Theodore Paraskevopoulos.
• The Proper Conduct of the Priest (cleanliness of churches, schedule of services, uniformity and correct performance of the Divine Services, stipends, etc.), by Fr. Panagiotis Avgeropoulos.
• The Academy Golf Tournament, by His Grace Bishop Athenagoras.
The topics were discussed in detail, with proposals and exchange of views, and the necessary decisions were made.
