The Nativity of Christ the Savior was celebrated with great solemnity in the chapel of the Theological School of Halki on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. The festivities included the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy, presided over by the Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos.
Faithful from Halki, along with numerous groups of pilgrims from Greece, attended the celebration.
On the preceding day, December 24, in the chapel of the School, the Orthros, the Liturgy of the Great Hours, and the Vespers of the feast were observed. These were followed by the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great, also presided over by the Abbot.
